This large village (2 400 inhabitants) of hills, located south of Gherla (bus between the two cities), is famous for its many churches, its Hungarian folklore still alive (96% of the population) and especially its groups of musicians known throughout the region. Traditional Hungarian sounds (strong community), Romanian and Roma blend to create haunting or exciting melodies. If you go through Sic, open your ears.
