The road to Black River passes through the village of Belmont after Bluefields Bay, famous for being the birthplace of Peter Tosh, companion of Bob Marley and Bunny Livingston at the beginning of the great Wailers adventure, and emblematic figure of radical and militant reggae. You can stop there to visit the mausoleum and perhaps spend a night there or eat at a small table in the village to enjoy the beautiful beaches around.
