Travel Guide Spring Green

In a wide valley surrounded by hills eroded by glaciers, Spring Green is a small village that has the distinction of being in the vicinity of two architectural masterpieces, Alex Jordan's House on the Rock and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. The latter took up residence in Spring Green following personal problems in the Chicago area and built his house there, which has become the main attraction of the place. Alex Jordan built a dream home overlooking the valley. As in most of the surrounding villages, Spring Green is a place where people come to stroll down historic streets with Victorian homes or those inspired by the hometown boy, Frank Lloyd Wright. Its little Unity Chapel is a must see
