This fishing harbour is located near the Annapolis Basin and Digby Sound, which leads to the Bay of Fundy. It is best known for its scallop fishery, the largest in the world. Digby is not a major attraction, but there are some nice accommodations along the basin, including the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa, as well as a few seafood restaurants. For points of interest, check out the lovely Digby Tidal Clock at the corner of Sydney and Water streets. A ferry runs between Digby and Saint John, New Brunswick (year-round service).
