The site, which covers an area of 13,185 ha south of the town of Pirque, is very pleasant. Two paths, an arboretum and several picnic areas on the banks of the river invite you to enjoy a day of walking and swimming. Botanists will admire several interesting species, including canelos and arrayanes, less frequent in this region of the cordillera. We will note the presence of the torcaza, an endangered bird that lives in the lingo groves, where it gets its food.
