Travel Guide Batié

The village of Batié, located not far from the eponymous pass, about thirty kilometres north of Bafang towards Bafoussam, offers a very nice view of the surrounding countryside.Here too, the unique landscape of the West is not dominated by the forest, but by cultures. The fields and mountains are entirely cultivated, and the rich families own beautiful residences there, which can be recognized by their characteristic conical roofs, an imitation of chiefdoms. The Col de Batié, located at an altitude of 1,580 m, is really worth a detour to admire the impressive landscape of green hills all around.
