Modernist artist Júlio Pomar (Lisboa, 1926-2018) was known as a multi-faceted artist, working in a variety of techniques. This museum aims to promote his work with regularly changing exhibitions and activities. The collection showcases his career with a comprehensive range of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, ceramics, collages and assemblages. In 2023, the museum celebrated its tenth anniversary with a major exhibition.
