A few kilometres west of Lisbon, a superb and gigantic circular open-air saltwater swimming pool with a view of the ocean, as well as a swimming pool for children. It is equipped with diving boards, surrounded by straw umbrellas and deckchairs for relaxation and tanning. To get there, simply take the Cascais line train and get off at the Oeiras stop. Then you will have to walk towards the marina.

Studio Rise is a cycling studio: you'll have to pedal non-stop for 45 minutes, and of course as fast as possible. And this studio has made it a lot more entertaining by adding music, and putting you in the dark. Sometimes there are even DJ sets during some of the classes. It's almost like being in a trendy club in the capital...

The Portuguese Football Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Futebol) is based in Cruz Quebrada - Dafundo. They also have a whistleblowing platform, a broadcast channel called Canal 11, a ticketing service, an online store called Portugal Store, and a press office.

The Alfama municipal swimming pool, located opposite the Pantheon, is really quite small: 3 lines, 16 metres long, with a maximum depth of 1.20 metres! In other words, there's barely enough to swim in, but it's enough! If you haven't remembered to bring your bathing cap, the ladies at reception can provide you with one. And don't hesitate to ask for the times - it'll save you a lot of trouble (the pool is in the hills above the town)! If you're feeling a bit peckish, there's also a pool bar.

The Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon was built between 1861 and 1867. Very quickly, it specialized in the field of astrometry, that is to say, in the measurement of the position of the stars, until it obtained a real international recognition. It was finally integrated into the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in March 1995, while maintaining its own autonomy. In 2012, the Council of the University of Lisbon approved its integration into the Museums Unit of the University of Lisbon. Today its activities include scientific and historical research, as well as the preservation and dissemination of heritage to the general public. A visit to this remarkable site allows one to become aware of the rich historical, architectural and instrumental heritage of Portuguese and world astronomy, especially in the 19th and 20th centuries. Lectures, astronomy courses, and astronomical observations are also on the menu. Among the prestigious instruments that the observatory possesses are the large equatorial telescope with a diameter of 38 cm and a length of 7 m, specialized in the observation and study of certain stars, a meridian telescope with a diameter of 135 mm, and several telescopes for the determination of the time. The guided tours are free and take place on Thursday morning and afternoon for 60 minutes. They are conducted in Portuguese and English. Even without speaking these languages, it can be interesting.

One of the first yoga studios that opened in Lisbon. A little hidden in the middle of the restaurants, it is run by Zoé, an Australian who has been living in Portugal for several years. You will be able to follow several types of courses: hatha, vinyasa, yin, ashtanga... There are also workshops organized on Saturday afternoon (info is updated on the Facebook page). Classes are in English but the atmosphere is very friendly. All levels are welcome but some courses are more for advanced levels.

More than 100,000 subscribers and fans have chosen their side: the Sporting Clube . The stadium wasinaugurated in 2003, after two years of construction. The museum was created when the soccer club was founded in 1906. With a capacity of 52,000 spectators, green and yellow stands (the club's colors are green and white), the stadium houses a commercial and leisure center underneath. This cooking school will teach you how to make emblematic dishes such as francesinha, grilled chicken with piri piri and, above all, pastel de nata! In groups of up to 12 people and for 2 hours, you'll learn all the steps involved in making this famous pastry.

Created by a group of friends a few years ago, this workshop was first located within Lx Factory, then moved to the Intendente side to take advantage of a beautiful space. They organize different workshops every month of varying length, and above all bring in artists and craftspeople to run them. You can try your hand at silk-screen printing, ceramics or painting on azulejos, with different techniques depending on who runs the workshop. They also sell kits, if you want to practice at home afterwards.
