Practical information : Treat yourself (& others) Lisbon
Most stores are open Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm. Be careful, however, some shops may close on Mondays and on weekends, while shopping centres are open from 10am to midnight every day (even on Sundays for the majority).
Budget & Tips
For fashionistas, learn that Zara is 20% cheaper than in France. You should also know that the Turismo de Lisboa has set up the Lisboa Shopping Card which grants discounts (from 5 to 20%) in more than 200 stores in the city (Baixa, Chiado, Liberdade...). What's very local
If you want to do some Portuguese shopping, you will have to experience the mall at least once. But if you fear the crowd, it's better to abstain. Alternatively, you can go to Feira do Relógio, a large market located in Bela Vista (red line metro), on Sunday morning. There is a little bit of everything: imitations of tennis brands, cheap dishes, food stalls...
We will avoid all shops that sell souvenirs "made in China" from La Baixa and Alfama. They are easy to recognize because they all sell the same thing
