If the hotel is outside of the historic center, it enjoys the pleasant environment of a more modern central district, between the Campo Pequeno Arena Square and its shopping center and restaurants with terrace and the Gulbenkian Museum with its park, an oasis of greenery. At the angle of the inevitable Rua Augusta, the façade has a dog, the public areas are not all new, however the bathrooms are clean. As for the rooms, distributed on several levels, they are of unequal quality but are regularly poeny (unfortunately not enlarged!). On the 4 ^th floor, you will have access to the small balcony… the view over the castle the Carmo or the Rua Augusta (which makes corner) is superb (especially from room 403). The dining room takes very seriously with its recent azulejos panels, a cigarette dispenser even honours smokers from their presence! The staff were friendly and helpful. In short, a ratio of quality/often low quality and comfort more than random (especially for rooms without bathroom), all in the pedestrian district, lively during the day.
