Travel Guide Modjadjiskloof

It was the time of the horse tanks. The trekkers embourbaient constantly. Today, with its 2 000 inhabitants, Duiwelskloof is a quiet wood production centre, renamed Modjadjiskloof in 2004. In summer, trees cover a thousand flowers. If you have a little time, you can take a small 19 km loop by climbing west from Mabel street. At 2,5 km, turn right and enter Westfalia Estate, which was the property of Dr Hans Merensky, famous naturalist and geologist. A private museum is dedicated to it, which only visits a group. Today, Westfalia is the largest operation of lawyers on the continent. Its products are sold in the good grocery stores in Paris. Ten kilometres later, we cross the railway to go back to the Route-Duiwelskloof road.
