In the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park, this charming rural hamlet has just 50 inhabitants. It is nestled on the right bank of the River Deva, 15 km from Potes. The entrance to the village is dominated by the sculpture of Don Pelayo, the first king of Asturias, who, according to legend, was born here and his favourite son Favila died here, attacked by a bear. All around, nature is sumptuous with tall trees and green mountains that can be explored on beautiful walks. A peaceful and authentic hamlet where it is good to stay. You will also find some very pleasant and comfortable rural casas.
