About ten kilometres after Cosgaya following the CA-185, another stone mountain village straddling a torrent. Together with the village of Pido, it is located on the highest part of the Valle de Liébana. From there, the panoramic views over the wooded mountains are sumptuous. This charming and very welcoming village serves as a base for many hikers who come to criss-cross the northern roads of the Picos de Europa. There is also a wide choice of hotels and restaurants serving delicious traditional cuisine. The Fuente Dé cable car is only 4 km from Espinama.
