Travel Guide Langa De Duero

Crossed by the River Duero, this charming little village of less than 700 inhabitants has restored a Castilian house to house the Casa Lagar museum, which displays two old wine presses. Don't hesitate to drop by for the grape harvest at the beginning of October, as the town is part of the Ribera del Duero D.O. (Ribera del Duero D.O.). There are also many historic buildings in and around the town, such as the Castillo del Cubo, the medieval bridge and the parish church of San Miguel, which was remodelled in the 16th century. Langa de Duero is located 88 km southwest of Soria on the N-122. There are daily buses to and from Soria, Salamanca and Valladolid.
