Located 43 km west of Valladolid on the A-11 and N-122, this small village of less than 500 inhabitants boasts several points of interest, such as the Santa María church, built in stone in the 16th century, and the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Valbuena, located in the San Bernardo district on the banks of the Duero River. A few metres away, it is possible to visit the Bodega Emina, an important centre of wine, art and culture in Ribera del Duero. Strolls through the vineyards and gastronomic tastings are regularly organised there. In the surrounding area, it is also possible to visit many wineries.
