A few kilometers east of El Toboso, Mota del Cuervo appears, a small town of more than 6,000 inhabitants, nicknamed the "balcony of La Mancha" because of its location at the foot of a hill. On this hill are the seven mills mentioned by Don Quixote, the oldest of which, the Molino del Zurdo, is over three centuries old. Wheat cultivation was one of the main activities of the village, and here you can buy the bread of La Mota, patented as such in 2021. If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of El Quijote, you can go to the mesón of the same name, located in the center of town.
