This village, 4 kilometres from Villány, was also repopulated by swabians settlers after the expulsion of the Turkish occupier. In their new homeland, these settlers had better kept their habits and customs than if they had remained in Germany. The double row of wine cellar, arranged in scie teeth, is one of the most picturesque views of the country. The amateurs will always find an open door for wine tasting (the weekend until 18 p. m.). The opening of the festival of songs to drink is traditionally held in Batthyány cellar, which was built by a builders of Italian churches in 1754. This "underground cathedral" of huge dimensions, to the Gothic and colonnades vaults, is still doing its little thing!
