27 km south of Pécs, on Route 58. This small spa town, known as Rheumatic Mecca, is located near the Dráva River, which marks the Croatian border. For centuries, this region took the name of the "Prés Prés" because of the sulfur vapours that came from it. During the last century, during the drainage of these wetlands, the rheumatic pain of the workers who labouraient in pataugeant all day in these steaming swamps disappeared with the tiède mud disappeared as by enchantment.
