By way of welcome, ruined houses and a bridge destroyed during the war replaced by another, "provisional", since 1997: The arrival at Martin Brod is not very engaging. But, in the valley, the view does not deceive: This is the most beautiful village in the national park. It is here, just a few hundred meters from the border with Croatia, that Unac joins the UNA to form a delta drowned in greenery and surrounded by summits exceeding 800 m above sea level. Both rivers are majestic: While its tributary comes out of a deep canyon of nearly one kilometer long, the UNA spills its tumultuous waves into a series of waterfalls, one of which is the highest in the park. Marked by the war, this small town of about 130 inhabitants, with a large majority of Bosno-Serbian, has been returning to rafting for several years, but also with its fish waters, well-developed trails, some restaurants, guest rooms and Una-C hotel-restaurant.Rafting and Kayak - Martin Brod is a good starting point for rafting or kayaking as far as Kulen Vakuf (9.5 km - about 1:30 - easy level). In addition, in addition to the rental price of the equipment or guided excursion, a right of passage is required in the national park of 6 KM per person.
