Leura is a pretty village listed by the National Trust, adjacent to the east of Katoomba. One comes here to have a coffee in a hippie atmosphere. Known as the Garden Village, it is famous for its magnificent private gardens which can be visited in October, during the Gardens Festival. It is above all plants native to Europe and Australia, spread over several terraces, built in the 1930s. At the bottom of Leura Mall, near the golf course, there are exceptional viewpoints. Like the Gordon Falls Lookout, between Lone Pine Ave & Olympian Parade. This lookout provides a spectacular view of Gordon Falls and Jamison Valley.
