Thirroul lies 4 km south of Coledale. Relatively close to Wollongong, of which it is the northern suburb, this small town has an atmosphere still imbued with the calm of the Grand Pacific Drive which, from the Royal National Park exit some 15 km to the north, leads here along magnificent coastal scenery. The South Sailor restaurant, close to the beach, is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail with friends. The restaurant also serves burgers and seafood. For example, try the seafood platter for 2, cooked in a very original and generous way. A real treat!
