It is a small town above El Medano, without any tourist interest if it is the mercado del agricultor. Open every Saturday and Sunday morning. There are large varieties of fresh products: vegetables, fruit, local pastry, spices. A regulatory board guarantees the quality, price and freshness of the products. It is also an interesting city from a socio-economic point of view, because that is where many immigrants, mostly Moroccans and sub-Saharan Africans, are concentrated in search of employment. The majority arrived clandestinely on board «pateras».
