Agnontas is a tiny port on the southwest coast of Skopelos, about 8 km from the Chora. Life flows smoothly in this small bay with clear waters, nestled at the bottom of a valley with hills covered with green pines. It is an excellent base for discovering pleasant beaches, in an almost idyllic setting. Accommodation is cheap, fish taverns spread out their tables on the beach, and a few small shops provide the necessities - the rest doesn't matter and time seems suspended. Halfway between Chora and Agnontas, Stafylos offers another landscape, more open and wild, with two sublime beaches, not to be missed.
