Mithymna (or Molyvos) is - without exaggeration - one of the most beautiful villages in Greece. Well preserved, it is known for its narrow streets and stone houses with flowered balconies, overlooking the beach. Built in an amphitheater on a rocky hill dominated by the unmistakable Byzantine fortress, this charming village is rich in listed 18th century houses. With its spectacular sunsets and small cobbled streets, Molyvos looks like a setting from another time. On the north coast, the baths of Eftalou (4.5 km) and the small port of Skala Sikamineas, with its beautiful chapel Panagia Gorgona (14 km) offer enchanting settings to be discovered from Molyvos.
