Founded in 1922 by refugees from Asia Minor, this village is nowadays known for its huge beach that stretches as far as the eye can see and for one of the most famous hotel complexes in Chalkidiki, the Porto Carras. Before reaching Neos Marmaras, there are many small coves with crystal clear waters that invite you to take a swim. The three buildings of Porto Carras make up a real holiday village with an agricultural unit that allows it to offer products of excellent quality, as well as a famous wine. Its casino attracts all the gambling aficionados of the region. If Porto Carras has aged a little, the surrounding area, fortunately, has no reason to change.
