18 km from Bodrum, this old fishermen's village, a little isolated, with its mills, is very pleasant. It is known for its sponge fishermen. The port, the alleys with its stores and cafes are very pleasant. The beaches are relatively exposed to the wind. Three kilometers away, the ancient Greek village of Geriş is located on the road to Yalıkavak, high up.
