Travel Guide Apriltsi (Априлци)

This small town attracts hikers above all for its hiking trails in the Central Balkan Park. Its tourist office, 102 Vasil-Levski Street (open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm), will inform you about these trails and other activities, as well as about rooms in local houses and hotels in the village (such as the Eco Rai Rekata) and its region. Apriltsi is surrounded by mountains with the Botev peak at 2,376 m, the highest in Bulgaria, but also by dense forests and hills. It is crossed or close to the rivers Ostreshka, Vidimska and Zla Reka. Its environment also invites to go fishing, horseback riding or downhill cycling.
