Nestled in the heart of the Roses valley, Karlovo's small town is one of the most pleasant in the region, without being a tourist attraction in itself, thanks to its environment and architecture. You can visit it in half a day, but it is a good starting point for exploring the Roses Valley and the Sredna Gora. The main street, Vasil-Levski, goes from the station to the square of 20-July where most cafes and shops are located.
