Iguazú: "great waters" in Guarani. A breathtaking spectacle! In 1934, a national park was created to protect the site, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. These impressive waterfalls are actually located on the Río Iguazú (1,320 km) which marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. The falls are the main attraction, but it is also an opportunity to discover the jungle. Covering an area of over 67,000 hectares, the park is home to an incredible wealth of flora and fauna. The park is divided between the nature reserve and the site of the falls, where all the tourist facilities are located.
