A pleasant little tourist town where tranquillity reigns. Bordered by the rivers Parana to the west and Iguazu to the northeast, the town sometimes looks like a small village, despite its obvious tourist vocation. Hotel and restaurant prices remain reasonable, and it is much more pleasant to stay there than in Foz, on the other side of the border. Between about 1 and 4 pm, the town takes a nap and not much is left open. In the evening, however, everything comes alive, especially in Feirinha, the Brazilian market. The tourist office is located at 311 Avenida Victoria Aguirre (✆ +54 3757 423 951 www.iguazuturismo.gob.ar)
