Population approx. 510. The last village before Logarska Dolina. The Bukovnik farm is perched on the nearby mountain. At 1,327 m, it holds the national altitude record. From Solčava, a scenic road via Podošelva also leads to the Logar Valley. This road can be reached by heading for the Pavličevo sedlo pass. 3 km before the border with Austria, turn right. There are many farms selling cheese on the hillside. The road is passable, but not surfaced. It offers fine views and a stop at the Sv. Duh church, built in 1864 at an altitude of 1,240 m, invites you to pause and contemplate.
