The largest municipality of the country (3.3 million inhabitants), Quezon City is generally not very frequented by visitors. And yet, the city presents some curiosities. It is known for its shopping malls and its lively nightlife, but more and more trendy restaurants and hotels are springing up here and there. Its dynamism comes mainly from the fact that it hosts the largest university in Manila. Tomas Morato and Timog avenues constitute the tourist area of Quezon City.
