With its 2,000 inhabitants, Sant Rafel de sa Creu is a small community - located equidistant from Ibiza and Sant Antoni de Portmany, not far from the famous Amnésia and Privilège clubs - clustered around its 18th-century church on a hill. Overlooking the valley and offering a magnificent view of Ibiza town, the church is beautifully illuminated at night. The village, the island's only Zona de Interés Artesanal (Artisanal Interest Zone ), is renowned for its craftsmanship, and more specifically its pottery tradition, on display in several stores along the road.
