Located on the banks of the Meuse, Anhée has a little more than 7,000 inhabitants. Its name is not the best known to the general public, whereas the villages that make up the commune have much more "buzzing" names. We can mention Annevoie-Rouillon and its famous gardens, Bioul with its castle in the heart of the village and its vineyard, Sosoye and its hamlet Maredret, Warnant well known for its snail breeding. Backbone of the village, the Molignée is a small river flowing into the Meuse at Anhée. It has carved a winding valley bordered by a road that is a delight for motorcyclists. At the top, the abbey of Maredsous attracts many visitors
