At an altitude of 800 m, Kilani is a quiet, picturesque village. Next to the large church of Panagia Eleousa (1919), the small ecclesiastical museum is worth a visit for its icons. A little further away, 1.5 km to the northeast, on the banks of the River Krios and near a tall plane tree, the 15th-century chapel of Agia Mavri is dedicated to the Black Madonna.
