This small town of 6,500 inhabitants has a rich history and beautiful buildings. Starting with the baroque palaces of the 17th and 18th centuries, which will undoubtedly seduce travellers who stop for a break. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, dating from the 16th century, with statues by Gagini and a painting by Palladino, is also worth seeing. In the sacristy are architectural remains of the previous church, in Romanesque style (12th century)
