This farm town of 13 000 inhabitants (guar producer, wheat and almonds) is without great interest, but is located near Mount Saraceno. It is an interesting archaic archaeological site, modified in Greek times (at the end of the th century BC). There is a necropolis, as well as terraces. The archaeological sector is open Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 19 PM. The small archaeological museum S. Lauricella brings together some beautiful pieces. It is open on Tuesday and Friday from 9 am to 13 pm. In the centre, the churches Saint-Georges and Saint-Jacques deserve a look.
