It is not only the most beautiful beach on the entire coast, but also a small fishing port where it is good to live and stroll through its ancient streets designed according to a fishbone plan around Corso Ruggero, the main artery of the old town. Art and culture enthusiasts will find something to their liking, between its Arab-Norman cathedral, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. It justifies the trip by itself as it is so grandiose, and its many remains of primitive civilizations overlooking the Rocca. It is moreover from this enormous rock, in the shape of a skull (with a little imagination...) which dominates the city, that this one holds its name, from the Greek Kephalion which means "head". The walk on the heights is fabulous, in the middle of the pines. We always cross a lot of French in the center because of the immense Club Med which is just beside.
