15 km from Jokkmokk, the charming village of Vuollerim, in addition to its hotel and its accommodation possibilities, offers thanks to the dynamism of its villagers who invest themselves in the maintenance of the place, many activities throughout the year. One discovers in particular some rather original sites which are worth the detour like this secret military base, built in case of retaliation against Russian attacks or this archaeological museum which reveals the presence of dwellings dating from 6 000 years.
