Luleå is a port city on the Gulf of Bothnia and the gateway to Swedish Lapland with a population of just over 48,000. In summer, its archipelago becomes the playground for holidaymakers enjoying a boat trip. And in winter, on the sea frozen to a depth of more than 50 cm, roads of several tens of kilometers are created that connect the islands of the archipelago between them. A sporty city, there are many cyclists and hikers. And a few kilometers away, on the heights of the city, the forest hides sledging and hiking trails (for summer) and cross-country skiing trails (for winter).
