LAPLAND VUOLLERIM

Vuollerim is a village in the heart of Swedish Lapland, about 40 km south of Jokkmokk and 90 km north of Boden. It lies along the World Heritage Route 97. To get there, you can take the train to Murjek station, 14 km from Vuollerim. Alternatively, you can fly to Kallax Lulea airport, just 1 hour's flight from Stockholm Arlanda airport. Transfers from the train station or airport can be arranged. Vuollerim also has a small airstrip for light aircraft, and helicopters can also land in the village.
