With an area of 170,000 hectares, it extends from the Strait of Gibraltar in the south to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in the north and the province of Malaga in the east. This group of mountain ranges enjoys a microclimate that favors the growth of vegetation typical of tropical regions.
