Pulau Carey is a large island of 13 km² separated from the mainland by the narrow Langat River. It is best known for its palm oil plantations and its Mah Meri ethnic minority. Its 1,400 inhabitants belong to one of Malaysia's 18 indigenous tribes. If you're not going there on a tour, you'll need permission from the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA). You can get there by cab from Klang. The main attraction is the opportunity to meet the minorities, and the community center where you can buy local handicrafts. The difficulty of access makes this a rather expensive excursion.
