After a crossing of about 30 minutes from Port Klang, we arrive in a fishing village where Cantonese and Teotchiou traders have built their weekend houses, sometimes large, and on stilts. The whole, a little dilapidated, has the ambiguous aspect of clandestine meeting places. We meet Singaporeans who supposedly came to taste the seafood from the Seafood Nam Hong and Kim Hor restaurants, which border a fetid water. At night, the streets - because it is a real village - are lit by the light of karaoke and discos. If you miss the last ferry, you can sleep at the Sea Lion Hotel (rooms from 70 RM). This will be an opportunity to stay longer on this island for walks, sea trips or bird watching. Nothing memorable, however.
