Kursi (or Gérasa in the Gospels) is an archaeological site along the main road, in Kusri Junction. It is here that Christ exorcised a man possessed by demons and transferred evil into a pig herd. At the time, this place was in the region of Décapole, ten cities from antiquity to the east of the Jordan which regrouped together in league. Sushita (Hippos), on the Golan Heights overlooking Ein Belmont, is one of those cities whose ruins can be admired.
