The village of Enampore, a little more than twenty kilometres from Ziguinchor, is less visited than it is discovered. In fact, you will find one or two impluvium huts to "tour". These huts were used as forts and to protect families from possible attacks. However, the best way to soak up this village is surely to get close to the village camp. There, someone will welcome you and can concoct an excursion for you. These intermediaries are important to get a better feel for the area. They have a cousin, an aunt or a grandfather who owns the hut you are passing by and who will get you in.
