La Compôte is a typical village of the Bauges. It is made up of a single unit and is rich with many small barns scattered in the surrounding meadows. You can discover these typical hay barns by taking one of the two hiking trails offered for this purpose. The small circuit (30 minutes) and the large circuit (2 hours) through the fields will take you for a stroll in a suspended time to enjoy the view of the village and the surrounding mountains.
