Every neighborhood has its own gourmet landmarks. In Vaise, on the Valmy side, it's Bistro Berthet. A terrace out of sight and out of mind, a country feel in the middle of town, a convivial atmosphere in which to savor a cuisine that revisits the classics, composing contemporary dishes with assertive flavors. On the short menu, a duck breast with fennel/vegetable sauce awakens the taste buds, accompanied by a carrot and peach purée, before enjoying a homemade dessert. The lunchtime menu, based on daily market produce, offers good value for money. In the evening, plates are shared in the same spirit. There's also a fine selection of local wines.
