It's a lively place, 7 days a week, where you can enjoy an exceptional program of films, as well as meet up at the Bistrot (tea room, wine bar, snack bar), open every day, and at the restaurant l'Étage, where you can enjoy a dish of the day from Thursday to Saturday. An independent art house cinema where you can enjoy a wide range of films, from new discoveries to classics, with auteur films in VOST, documentaries, revivals and special programming for young audiences who enjoy ciné-goûters. Open every day. Full price €10.20. Reduced 8 €. Children (under 14) €5.50. Screenings before 12 noon: €6.50. Ciné Goûter: 1 ticket + €4.50 snack (booking required).
Owner's Message
The Comoedia is a place that distinguishes itself by its programming choices and its activities: films by authors in original version with subtitles, documentaries, revivals, festivals, discussion evenings, movie-snacks for children, meetings with directors... and a specific program for young audiences, both during school hours and outside. Our desire is to defend a certain idea of cinema, a major art form that lends itself better than others to arousing shared emotions and the debate of ideas.
Not forgetting the Bistro, where you can have a snack and a drink before or after the screening, throughout the day and in the evening. At the Counter, we can find fast food and counter service. At the Bistro, we offer dishes, platters and desserts with a large wine list and table service. Part of our menu is organic or from local suppliers.
It is a place of conviviality, discovery and meeting where the passion of the cinema breathes, in good conditions of comfort and projection on Lyon.
