The riverbanks have become an essential place to stroll and a festive place for students who take over the quays and barges.
For a long time natural, the banks were the site of numerous port activities until the 20th century. Unfortunately, Lyon was to cut off pedestrian access to the major waterways with its urban motorway and car parks along the banks. It was only in 2007 that the new banks of the Rhône were inaugurated and redeveloped for pedestrians and cyclists. These banks have become a popular place to stroll and a festive place for students who take to the quays and barges in the evenings. The banks of the Saône also offer facilities for strolling.

Idéal pour une bonne marche à pied pour découvrir la ville
Les berges du Rhône et de la Saône doivent être pour moi "exploré" à pied. La vie sur les immeubles et leurs histoires qui bordent ses berges méritent amplement le détour. Quelque soit le fleuve, chacun apporte son lot de belles découvertes!!! Une bonne paire de chaussures et un monde s'offre à vous!

Agréables promenades sur les berges
Les berges sont bien aménagées et il est très agréable de s'y balader. Les soirs d'été, on peut également s'installer pour profiter d'un peu de douceur à l'extérieur.

Les berges du Rhône sont très agréables à fréquenter. On peut s'y promener et profiter d'une superbe belle vue surtout lorsqu'il fait beau.

Au niveau des berges du Rhône, nous avons traversé tout Lyon, depuis Gerland jusqu'au Parc de la tête d'Or, en vélo !! au top. Très belle balade, gratuite, et vous visitez en même temps....
